Apostle Pierre Bryant has faithfully served in ministry for over three decades, marking 32 years in ministry and 19 years as a pastor as of August 20, 2025. His journey began with The Wholeness Center, where he served for four years as Senior Pastor, and continued with the establishment of The Encounter Houston in 2015 under the guiding principle, “It’s Not Church, It’s Culture.”

 

Today, Apostle Bryant leads Coronation City —“a city of Kings and Priests”— where the ministry of wholeness takes on a new dimension of importance and impact within the Kingdom of God.

 

He is the proud father of two beautiful children, his son and daughter, as well as a host of spiritual sons and daughters who now lead ministries across the world. Affectionately known by many as “The Professor,” Apostle Bryant is celebrated for his innovative and practical approach to Biblical linguistics, ecclesiology, the 5-Fold Ministry gifts in the 21st-century church, and the Gospel of the Kingdom of God with a strong emphasis on relational counseling.

 

With academic accomplishments that include degrees in Biblical Studies, Christian Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Religious Education, Apostle Bryant brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. His unique style bridges what he calls “Ancient Roots” with “Future Fruits,” blending traditional Pentecostal foundations with a progressive and prophetic voice for today’s church.

 

More than a preacher, Apostle Bryant describes himself as a Reacher—a man with an Apostolic mandate to train, equip, and dispatch Kingdom ambassadors who will impact nations with the contagious love of Jesus Christ.
